A Health Coach is trained in holistic health, functional nutrition and serves as a supportive mentor and wellness expert to help you create sustainable lifestyle changes to improve your overall health, wellness and wellbeing. Not all are certified.

Yes! As a certified Health/Wellness and Life Coach, I received my certification from The Health Coach Institute upon graduating from The BHC Program, a CCE Accredited (Continuing Coaching Education) by the International Coach Federation (ICF). This intensive 6 month course of study combined ongoing educational training entailing weekly classes, skills labs, on-line coaching sessions, tests and live one-on-one Success Coaching sessions with leading Health Coaches from around the world. I have studied the art, science and business of habit change and functional nutrition to help my client’s create lasting positive changes in their health, wellness and ultimately their lives! Unlike a registered health care provider, a Health Coach does not provide healthcare, prescribe medications or health tests, or diagnose, treat or cure disease.

I help my client’s set health related goals, create an action plan to achive those goals, break negative patterns and habits and replace them with new healthy ones that help them transform their health and their lives!
I work with my clients privately either in person, via a weekly 55 minute Skype, Zoom, FaceTime or phone conversation session.
I provide proven, holistic coaching methods customized specifically for each unique client’s challenges they are experiencing given their unique goals, background and body. Together we create a step-by-step action plan to improve the areas of health and wellness my client’s desire to transform. Together, we take a 360 degree perspective. Physically, Mentally, & Spiritually to make sure we’re on a path where my client feels balanced, supported and experiencing change! I offer ongoing support, accountability, guidance and encouragement.

The purpose of our discovery conversation is to learn more about each other and make sure we’re a good fit. We discuss your health and wellness goals, how I can help you achieve them, and which package makes the most sense for you. I will also address any questions or concerns you have about my coaching approach. It is important for us to build a trusting coaching relationship and for you to have sufficient time to make progress so you can and begin to see the results you desire!

Sure! You can upgrade programs at the prorated cost difference.

That is up to you. By the end of the program, you will be equipped with the needed knowledge to sustain the healthy lifestyle habits we worked together to build. Based on what is going on in your life and where you are with attaining your goals, or if you want to work toward new goals, it may make sense to renew your package or simply schedule single sessions to check-in from time to time. Just because the package is over doesn’t mean we have to stop partnering together.

When creating your goals, the first thing we want to do is make sure they are realistic. During our sessions we will make attainable action plans. While it is my job to provide you with guidance, support and encouragement, since the majority of the program occurs outside our sessions, the results are truly up to you. As I’ve mentioned before, by becoming my client, you get my full commitment to seeing you succeed. I will do everything in my power to help get to where you want to be!

Health/Wellness/Life Coach: a professional who obtains certifications through an accredited program like International Coaching Federation, no degree requirements, clarifies goals and identifies obstacles and problematic behaviors in order to create action plans to achieve desired results. The process of coaching takes the client’s current starting point as an acceptable neutral ground and is more action based from that point forward. A coach enables the person receiving treatment to take control of their life and take action to steer it towards their goals. The focus is on the present with outcomes that bring them success and fulfillment, in any and all areas of life.

Therapist: a professional classified as a psychologist or counselor, have varying master’s and doctorate degrees and are licensed by their state. A therapist diagnoses and resolves problematic beliefs, behaviors, relationship issues, feeling and sometime physical response. The idea behind therapy is to focus on past traumas and issues to change self-destructive habits, repair and improve relationships and work through painful feelings. The focus is on the past with the hope of resolving past issues and creating a happier, more stable future.
